These Luffa sponges when wet are naturally soft and supreme when it comes to exfoliation of the skin. Along with being very durable, they are 100% biodegradable, natural farm grown sponges that are prepared by hand in Reedley, Central Valley California. These are NOT the hard chemically treated cheap foreign grown sponges you find in most stores and online. The Luffa sponges we grow are very unique and by far the best you will ever encounter. Please rinse them in warm water before use and the luxuriousness of the Luffa will unfold in your hand.

Although they are incredible in the bath or shower, there are many uses for these durable Luffa sponges. They are great for washing dishes, windows, laminate floors, baseboards, sinks, granite and tile counter tops. I'm sure you can imagine a great many more uses for these amazing sponges!

You can cut these sponges while wet with scissors, or when dry, with a smooth edge butcher's knife to any size.

On a personal note: My wife and I have used one 7" Luffa Sponge for an entire year of washing dishes until we retired it into the bottom of one of our newly potted plants. After one whole year of use it's a little rough around the edges, but still useful. We did cleanse it regularly and sometimes threw it in the washing machine with our dishtowels. Air dry it only!

Favorite Luffa

I buy this big luffa and cut it into several pieces that I'll use as my in shower luffa. These never end up smelling and I can use a single piece for over a year before I need to grab a new one. this makes me feel so much better about when I throw it away because it's natural and will biodegrade. If I composted I'm sure I could throw this in the compost. Its also a great for exfoliating. I can also use these as my sponges in the sink and they never smell and last so much longer than any other sponge because it's not just sitting and breeding bacteria.

I have been ordering from Luffa Gardens for years and I love their products. My whole family including the kids use the luffas and I also use their dish size ones. I love that their natural and great quality.

Just next to perfect!

I bought two; one for the kitchen one for the shower. The one in the shower is for exfoliation on my legs and feet and arms and I can’t begin to say how much it’s helped my skin. In the kitchen, it rinses clean quickly. They dry quickly they wash everything from pots and pans to glasses and I don’t have wet soggy washcloth laying around anymore. These are the best spongesI’ve ever had.

They are great. Much thicker than my old one.
